“Whoever does not have the stomach for this fight, let him depart. Give him his money to speed his departure since we wish not to die in this man’s company. Whoever lives past today and comes home safely will rouse himself every year on this day, show his neighbor his scars, and tell him embellished stories of their great feats of battle. These stories he will teach his son and from this day until the end of the world we shall be remembered.

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; for whoever has shed his blood with me shall be my brother. And those men afraid to go will think themselves lesser men as they hear of how we fought and died together.”

                                                           REUNION NOTICE

Fellow Covans,

An "All Hands - All Year Groups" reunion is planned for October 15 - 18 2012 at the Hilton Convention Center in Branson, Missouri.  Branson is well known as an entertainment Mecca, a good place to have fun and caters to groups such as ours.  BGen. Jim Joy has been working with an agency in Branson that plans reunions and they have come up with a great package for us.  At the attachments are an activity schedule and a registration form.  No money or final decisions are required at this time (the registration form outlines the details and deadline on payment) but if you are interested in attending, please fill in the form and mail to the address indicated - again, no money or firm commitment is required at this time.  By mailing in the form your name will be placed on a specially created web site (the address is on the form) which will provide the planners with a sense of interest in the event and will allow the membership to see who is signing up.  When your commitment is firm, send your check by the deadline to the address indicated.  The registration form is pretty well self-explanatory but there are a few points I would like to highlight.

The hotel fee is separate and in addition to the activity fee.

Each Covan is responsible to contact the hotel directly at the number listed to make his room reservation and payment.

Staying at the Hilton is not required for attendance at the reunion.
